What’s new in Les Arcs this winter?

For December 2024, the new Transarc gondola will be operational. The 10-seat cabins will be modern and comfortable and will take skiers to Col de la Chal at 2,600 m in just 13 minutes, compared to 20 minutes it took previously.

There will be new discovery areas combining stunning viewpoints, exploration, curiosity and thrills, both at the mid station and at the top of the new lift.

They are also reducing energy consumption, this new lift will reduce consumption by 10% and with 600m2 of solar panels integrated into the structure of the building, it will produce its own electricity which is amazing!

What else?

In the planning stage is a 10 person gondola lift from Villaroger, which will be able to carry 1,800 people per hour at a speed of 7m per second taking 5 minutes from the bottom at 1210m to the top at 2119m. This will replace the two old chairlifts that are currently there, undoubtably opening up the Villaroger area to more skiers wanting the thrill of the longest ski runs in the area, the 7km run from the top of the Aiguille Rouge down to Villaroger.

BOOK NOW - our two Montchavin chalets, Chalet Snowflake and Chalet Edelweiss, have direct access to the Les Arcs ski area as the two areas are linked to form Paradiski, the worlds third largest ski area.
