When they linked La Plagne and Les Arcs together to create Paradiski, they created the third largest skiable area in the world. La Plagne ski resort, including its linked area with Les Arcs, has over 460kms of piste across an altitude ranging from 1250m to 3250m. In 2006 the largest and fastest cable car (at the time of opening) in the world opened and linked La Plagne to Les Arcs Ski Resort creating a vast ski paradise, aptly named Paradiski®. Continuous investment has made this one of the best ski areas in the world. Our catered ski chalets are brilliantly located right in the centre of the entire area, giving you the opportunity to select skiing in Les Arcs or La Plagne on any given day. Or even both if you are quick enough!
The local ski area is made up of wide open and undemanding slopes, making this ideal beginner and intermediate skiing territory. Directly above this area is the Bellecote mountain and from here there are plenty of challenging long off piste descents from the summit at 3417m. Add in the cable car link to Les Arcs and yet another huge valley is opened up, making this ski resort one of the finest for vast and varied terrain. La Plagne is home to one of the only bobsleigh and luge tracks which was built in 1992 for the winter Olympics held in Albertville. Give it a go for an awesome adrenalin rush!
It’s not all about the skiing and boarding. La Plagne Ski Resort has plenty more on offer on and off the mountain. Some of our favourite Winter Activities in this great resort are:

Our catered ski chalets are in Montchavin La Plagne, a pretty village with shops, bars, bakery, and nice restaurants. Montchavin offers quick access to the Vanoise Express or lifts linking into the vast La Plagne ski area and with good snow conditions you can ski intermediate runs back to the village and the chalets.
